Based in London, Deidra is originally from New Zealand where she began her initiation into the Arts. Her work includes Interior Design, Creative Direction, Styling and Merchandising for both public and private spaces.
A large part of her professional career was spent leading Aēsop’s Store Design development in the UK and Europe. In her eight years there she both designed their stores, hand picked emerging Architects, Designers and Craftsman and developed their Merchandising and Styling strategies.
Since this period Deidra has assembled a studio which focuses on a niche part of the retail and hospitality industry, employed by brands who are likewise interested in creating bespoke spaces influenced by their local environs, demographic, and whom are passionate about involving craftsman and makers to the process.
Her process maintains an anthropological approach ensuring a feeling of warmth and familiarity alongside an absolute commitment to the functional.
