The house was particularly influenced by historic imagery of the Battersea Control rooms from the 1950s through to the 1980s and the buildings evolving design, a symbol of future thinking and invention.

There are elements of repetition and materiality in reference to this, leading to a slightly futuristic | industrial era feel. A tension was then created with natural, enriched greens and textured materials, including fibreglass and quarry tiles adding a post war design aesthetic to the space. Overall the space was created to feel grounded and human with an aura of the sites past.
